Anyone in England can register with a GP surgery.

A General Practitioner (GP) or family doctor treats all common medical conditions and refers patients to hospitals and other medical services for urgent and specialist treatment.

GP practices deal with a wide range of physical, long-term and mental health conditions. They prescribe medication, provide health screening, offer advice on smoking and diet, run clinics, and give vaccinations.

You do not need proof of address or immigration status, ID or an NHS number.
