We are still here! Your doctors surgery is open and here for you.

To keep everyone safe during the coronavirus pandemic, your initial appointment may be over the telephone or by video call. If your GP needs to see you face-to-face, you will be invited to a surgery.

Use online services through your GP practice’s website or using an app, like the NHS App, to book appointments, request prescription medicines and more! Keep any check up appointments or procedures you have booked, unless we contact you.

A General Practitioner (GP) or family doctor treats all common medical conditions and refers patients to hospitals and other medical services for urgent and specialist treatment.

GP practices deal with a wide range of physical, long-term and mental health conditions. They prescribe medication, provide health screening, offer advice on smoking and diet, run clinics, and give vaccinations.

You should make an appointment with your GP practice if you’re injured, unwell or have an ongoing problem that cannot be treated at home, or if you need advice on managing long-term conditions.

If you ned to see a GP outside normal opening times you can ring your GP practice or call 111 to access the out-of-hours service.
